Cantex Connect lets any Canton wallet trade on Cantex without connecting to a dApp. Instead of visiting an interface or signing a separate swap transaction, you simply send a standard Canton transfer to the Cantex swap address and specify what you want to receive in the memo.

The swap executes atomically as part of the transfer, including across multiple Cantex pools where necessary. If it fills, the output is sent directly back to your wallet, typically within 10–15 seconds. If the swap cannot be filled or fails, the transfer remains pending and can be cancelled from your wallet.

Because Connect uses a standard Canton transfer, it works with any wallet or system capable of sending one — including hardware wallets, custodians, MPC platforms, exchanges, treasury systems and validator wallets. No Cantex integration, browser extension or SDK is required.

Cantex never takes custody of your assets, and Canton's sub-transaction privacy means your trading activity is not broadcast across the network. More than 100 trading pairs are currently supported.

How It Works

  1. Make sure pre-approvals are set up for both tokens (the token you're sending and especially the token you want to receive).
  2. Send a standard Canton transfer of the token you want to swap to the Cantex swap wallet:

  1. In the memo, specify which token you want returned
  2. The swap executes atomically within the transfer. If it fills the output lands back in your wallet in about 10–15 seconds. If it can't be filled or fails, your transfer will stay pending and you will have to cancel it within your wallet.

Requirements

Warning

You must have a pre-approval configured for the token you want to receive. We recommend setting up pre-approvals for both the sending and receiving tokens before using Connect.

Danger

We do not support the MOD token. DO NOT send us MOD tokens!
